York artist Brenda Wintermyer has hosted a Hootneanny in her downtown art studio on North Beaver on the First Friday in September for the past two years. This year our Hootenanny will be bigger and better, but still as friendly as ever. Entertainment will include the Indian Summer Jars, Tony Ryder, Karen Paust, Jim Lehman, Jess McPherson and Bob Miller. Musicians will play from 5:00 to approximately, 8:00 p.m.
In addition to great art and music the evening will also include some great snacks and a surprise or two. Admission is free, but a donation to YorkArts will be encouraged. Brenda's Third Annual Hootenanny will be held on September 2nd, 2011 at 22 N.
